CHURCH NEWS:
Thank You: I want to thank all who were there to help me celebrate my 100th birthday last Saturday and also to those who sent cards, called or when they saw me, wishing me birthday greetings. To my family who spent hours preparing and planning for the celebration and the friends who helped. I have been Blessed through the years with good health, family and friends and I have so much to be thankful for. A big THANK YOU TO ALL. - Alice Dykstra
Thank You: Pumpkin Fest: Sending a THANK YOU out to Bob & Barb for organizing, Doug, for assembling and driving our church float, candy throwers and walkers, and for all our candy donations! We had a lot of fun and were able to pass out almost 400 invitation flyers inviting our community to our church! What a success it was and thank you to ALL! - Mary Burkey
Thank You: We are pleased to announce that Elizabeth Van Someren will be sharing the keyboard duties with Jan for our Sunday morning services. Thank you to both ladies.
Bible Study on the Life of Abraham: A Bible Study on the Life of Abraham is currently scheduled to take place in the Fellowship Hall every second and fourth Monday of the month. We plan to begin tomorrow morning at 10:00 by looking at Abram’s call (Genesis 11:26- Genesis 2:9). Study Guides are available in the Narthex.
OCC Update:
Saturday, Oct. 18th - 10:00 AM -Final Work Day – to put together school kits and hygiene kits for the OCC Boxes
Saturday, Nov. 15th – 6:30 PM Pack the Box Party
Tuesday, Dec. 9th – 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Aurora Processing Center(details below)
OCC Aurora Processing Center: We are very excited to once again travel to Aurora to work at the Samaritan’s Purse Processing Center. It was so informative and so much fun last year. It’s a chance to see the next step in how our boxes are prepared for their trip around the world spreading the Gospel. We’ll be going as a group. If you can join us, please contact Cheryl Allen. We’d love to have you with us!

Old Hymnals: The old hymnals are now located on the bottom book shelf in the Lab. Please feel free to take as many copies as you wish. Thank You
Evangelism Station: Check out the new items in the Evangelism Station in the Narthex. There are options for children and adults. Please take and use any items as you share the Good News! Enjoy
Van Update: Getting ready to buy a new van. This project has been a success and we thank all for your donations.
Reminder: The new copies of Today’s Christian Living Magazine are in the book cart in the Narthex.

The Northwest Indiana chapter of American Guild of Organists with Westminster Presbyterian Church invite you to The Phantom of the Organ on October 24, 2025, at 7:13 PM. The church is located at 8955 Columbia Ave., Munster, IN 46321. Multiple Organists will be participating from the community including Benjamin Amenta, George Karst, Eugene Mudra, Justin Rich, Mark Sudeith, and others, with the singing of Pumpkin Carols, and a number of religious & classical
selections on organ and piano.
