CHURCH NEWS:

OCC: Thanks for your continued support of this ministry. This month we are looking for the following items: sewing needles, safety pins, needle threaders, chapstick-type sticks or lip balms (no medicated ones).

Graduation Sunday will be held on June 8th. We need pictures and write-ups for each graduate. Please supply the following information: 1. Current School graduating from; 2. Activities and accomplishments; 3. What your future plans are and/or where the next level of education will take place. Please hand all information in to Mike Van Someren as soon as possible. Thank You.

Memorial Day Services:
This Memorial Day, let’s take a moment to reflect on those who gave it all. Please join the Momence Honor Guard on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Wichert Cemetery at 9:15 AM for a short service to remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Hope to see you there!

Also, the American Legion will host the Annual Memorial Day presentation at St. Anne Grade School at 10:30 AM. Please be there to support our service men and women, past and present.

Old Hymnals: The old hymnals are located in the Narthex on a cart. Please feel free to take as many copies as you wish.

Van Fund: The Van Fund is now “live.” If anyone wishes to donate toward this fund, please write Van Fund on your envelope and we will account for it appropriately. We are looking to raise $25,000.00. Thank You.

Youth Group Garage Sale: If you are doing some spring cleaning and find some things that need to go, please save them for the Youth Group garage sale this fall. Details coming in the next weeks. If you are unable to store, please reach out to a Youth sponsor for a pick-up. Thank You.

Food Pantry. We had 28 families and 83 people at the food pantry on Saturday, May 17th. The St. Anne Food Pantry accepts any non- perishable food items. We can use the following: pasta noodles, mac & cheese, jelly, ketchup, pancake mix, syrup. Thanks for all your donations! Please place items on food cart in the Fellowship Hall by Friday, May 30th.

Evangelism Station: Check out the new items in the Evangelism Station in the Narthex. There are options for children and adults. Please take and use any items as you share the Good News! Enjoy!

Saturday, August 2nd will be our 2nd annual Block Party. Time will be from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. We will be having food, games, bounce houses and fun along with Larry Wertz, a Christian illusionist joining us for entertainment. Start praying about who you can invite to join us.
