Thank you to all who came out last week for the church yard clean up—what wonderful time working together and enjoying each other’s fellowship. Also, a big thank you to our secret trimmer who came early in the day and got us a head start on the project.
Next Sunday is our last 2nd Sunday Surprise in the Lab before Sunday School starts again. This time we want to invite everyone to join in on a special project. This past SS season, all the SS offering went to Phil’s Friends, which is a Christian organization that sends are packages to people dealing with cancer. We are excited to announce that the SS department's offering for the season was $5000.00! Next Sunday we are going to make some blankets to go in those care packages that we can deliver along with our donation check. Please stop by the Lab to help out with this special project…Don’t worry…there is still a surprise for our SS kids that day as well…See you in the LAB next Sunday.
Pumpkin Fest: The Pumpkin Fest parade will be Sat. Oct. 3rd at 11:00 AM. The theme is 250 Years Strong: United in Freedom. We would like to enter a float again this year and are asking for some help. If you have any Red, White and Blue décor, bunting, flags, stars, etc. that we could use to make our entry look fantastic, please put the items on the table in the LAB. Please also plan to either ride, walk or watch so that our community event is a success. More details coming soon.
